Brian it's been a fue years but I used to catch some nice channel in the Elkhorn and have have of heard of some flats coming out of there when there on the spawn.With all the rain and high water we have been having them cats leave the Missouri River and head up the tributaries such as the Elkhorn and you might hit the Cat Jackpot.Keep us posted on how you do,Tight lines Brother,J.D.

i fish the elkhorn, i have very hit or miss luck nothing to big either.

Just not in my fishing area and if I take a long trip it most likely would not be there,sorry. But I am sure there are fish there and with a little work those smaller river cats usually cooperate really good.
