    I live in a great state. Since we have has some of the worst snow in recent years, the elk have somewhat become as common as the house dogs.

    I was able to get these photos of a large herd grazing near the interstate. Today while driving I looked over at where a little herd has been hanging out the past week and saw one cow stratching her head on a limb.

    Just gorgeous, Amy. I can't imagine being in a place like that & seeing that many elk at once. Thanks again for those wonderful pictures.

    thats awesome. just seen 23 deer in two heards coming home from work tonight.
