First post in a long time, sorry about that. I was fishing at El Reno yesterday trying to catch some channel cats to eat. Wasn't catching anything but a bunch of small ones, so I caught a bluegill about 4 in. long and put him on the big rod. Maybe I'll get lucky and catch a flathead. At noon I got 2 good runs and then nothing so I let it sit there for about 30 min. Went to check the bait and it was like pulling a dead weight in! Felt like a turtle, turned out to be a saugeye 27 in.long and 8lbs.2oz. Swallowed that 4in. gill and 8\0 circle like it was nothing! First time I gut hooked a fish with circles. Didn't even know there were saugeye in the lake. IMG_14032_1.jpg
