    for those that use eels,

how do you hook them for cut bait?

how do you hook them for live bait?

i've been using them for fresh cut, hooked them in one end of the chunk. also have hooked them in the middle, kind of wacky worm style.

A generous chunk hooked once through the dark part of the skin and let it dangle. I promise it won't come off the hook. You will understand why they make wallets and shoes outa the skin. LOL! The head is the best part.

Through the lips when fishin em live. Also clip the tail. It will take a bit of the wiggle outa them and make for little or no tangle on your line.

To handle em get yourself one of them big green scrubby pads. Or keep em on ice with a towel or some newspaper as a buffer between them and the ice. It numbs em up some for easier handlein.
