Easy To Catch 100 Channel Cats In One Day

    I have fished Lake Wylie north and south carolina all my life .
    It`s easy to catch a 100 or more channel cat a day.
    My son and grandson and I have caught over 100 channel in a range 2lb to 8 lb many times in the past.Here are some pics of 44 channel we kept released the rest.We had 32lds-6oz of fillet from these 44 cats.:006:

    Nice catches... thats cool that u take ur grandson fishing with u, everyone needs to be more like you... Rep points... :) ...Ps.. Bet those cats were quite tasty, perfect eating size UMmmm.

    That's pretty cool. That lake must have a heck of an ecosystem for cats.

    They cats at Wylie love minnows. We've caught a boat load several time while trying to crappie fish. Nice haul there Ace.

    channels that come from clean lakes are as good as farm raised in my opinion! the channels that come out of the rivers around here taste like what the river smells like in the summer......SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANTS!:sick-big: by the way, congrats on a fine mess of channels!

    Nice catch.
    WE can catch them the first few miles Below Pickwick dam like that. I fish with the outboard running to slow me in the current. And wear them out when the water starts warming up.
    Also I have 3 grandkids that will start fishing with me soon. And look forward to trying to teach them to fish and stay out of trouble.

    Nothing like teaching a kid to fish, will keep them outta trouble later on.
