A friend shared this recipe with me and it is so easy.

    Chocolate cream pie

1 baked Pillsbury pie crust or your own crust

    mix these together
    3 T cornstarch
    1 C sugar
    4 T cocoa
    pinch of salt

2 C of milk (add to the dry ingredients and stir well)

microwave 3 minutes and then stir
microwave 2 more minutes (or until starting to thicken)

    Add
    3 egg yolks
    2T butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
microwave for 2 more minutes or until thick

    meringue
beat 3 egg whites (room temp.)
add 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
    and 3 T sugar ( one at a time)

brown in 350 degrees oven for 12-15 minutes

    Okie gal,
Thanks I will try it without the chocolate.
Just got through with my second bowl of banana pudding or as it has been said before "nanner pudding".
