I haven't used them in a few years. Been making up my own with mono leader & egg sinkers.

I have used them they will do the job. I just recently maybe a month or so ago stopped buying steel/pre-made rigs. I still have a few of them left in my tackle box and home. It was becoming too pricey after several hang ups. Especially when you get snagged 3 or 4 times in a row:angry:. I was running to K-mart/Wal-mart every week and spending $15 or more dollars worth of these things. I still keep a couple in case I run out the ones I make myself. But planning on severely cutting down on purchasing pre-made ones. Plus since I am tying my hand at carp fishing I have to use thinner mono/floro leaders.

They work well I used to use them exclusively but it become to expensive after getting hung up as often as I do, so I just started tieing my own but they do work well.
