Me and Jason hit Dutch Gap about 9am, scouted a few spots, talked to a few people and hit some nice spots trying to stay out of the wind. Bait was easy to get as Jason had bait before I got there and he gave away about 3 dozen shad to a few fellow BOCers at one of the spots and a couple gentleman back at the dock and we still had plenty to fish and a few dozen to trash after we were done. We didnt get many fish today but as Jason said today was about Quality not Quantity lmao. The fish were extremly finicky today and we got lots of bumps and pull downs. Big baits were not getting hammered as they usually did and when we did downsize we got nice fish. stayin out of the wind was very hard and when we did we tried to stay as long as possible. ended up with a few fish in the 30s, 50s and my new PB 66LBer. Im still shootin for that illusive 70-80LBer but I'll take a 66 anyday. Thanks again Jason for taking me out and puttin me on my PB

Congrads brother on the PB. As always a day late, Jason could have used that 66 for the tourney on Saturday. But thats the way it goes. We caught that 70 last Wednesday but the biggest we could get Saturday was a 30.
Great day of fishing for you guys. We're going back out on Friday should be a good day with a new moon.

    Ramon,
That is a really beautiful fish. Not us in the skiff. ...we were in a crappy lowe with and kept messing with the motor trying to get things straght. I think we saw 3 guys with orange hats in the skiff too. We had a tough time hiding from that wind as well. Glad you all got into them. Did you look for them shallow?

Yeah we joked about that cause Jason caught a 50+LB fish about 50 yds from the 66 and we were like he could've won with those 2 fish lmao. Yeah im glad this weekend is a 4-day im gonna try to get out friday myself at least 2 of those 4 days. So I guess this will be you and Kenny's warm up for the Ice Bowl
