Ive been using these small circle hooks on my baitfish pole.I normally use kahles but i really have a ball catching bluegills and such with those little circles.Ive been catching loads of fish but today the last 3or 4 fish in a row i caught got hooked but ended up comming off before i got them in.Could this be an indication that the hook is finally getting dull?

I would say yes for sure! Btw, where do you get your panfish size circle hooks? I had some owner in size 8 and they were super sharp, but I can't find them for sale anywhere!

Yeah thats what i figured, it kind of felt like it was getting a little dull but i wasnt for sure.can you sharpin circles or is it just better to toss it and tie on a new one?
Owner hooks are very sharp i normally get my hooks from bass pro shop but i use Gama size2 circles,I know that may sound a little big for bluegill but i swear they work like a charm.I catch everything from trout to bluegill to small channel cats on those little hooks.I went fishing today and caught bluegill all day long on those size 2 circles and nightcrawlers. But they work great for me so ive never went for anything smaller, just never needed to.
