The propane frig in my old trailer isn't working. Ever hear of anyone using dry ice in a frig like that? Does it work well. How long would it last? Just a thought....

I wouldn't use dry ice in a trailer because the CO2 could build up in a small space. When I use dry ice I put it in a chest outside. I have only used it a few time and it is more trouble for me than reg. ice.

What I do is freeze 5 gallon buskets of water.
You wind up with a great big ice cube.
Leave it in one piece and chip off what you need.

This is a trick that those of us that have fished the outer banks use. Aint no stores out there. Just deer flies, gnats, and skeeters.
