Ok, I admit it, I bought one of those cheapies and yes, it leaked like it was made of burlap. I see Cabela's has several in various sizes, shapes, brands and price ranges. Anyone out there got any one they would recommend? I would prefer the gym bag style, but roll up style would work also. I need the larger types, as I would be using it to haul clothes an such mostly. I also need one for wallet/cell phone/keys storage when kayaking.

go to army surplus and get a Wet Weather Bag.
They are decent sized about 10 gallons.
u can put them in any gym bag once u fill them up.
Around here they sell for like 5-10 bucks.

we use these (3 ALOKSAK™ Element-Proof Pouches) from sportsmansguide.com, they work very well for the cell, wallet and like items. Have not bought any big ones but I believe they have them also. These were around $10-12.

Don't know if they would work for ya or not, but I got a couple cheap "Tupperware" type boxes I put my stuff that don't want to get water on in. Walmart or Dollar store

Thanks for all the replies, I'm waiting for more so I can make an informed decision.

    Ahem, well, ah, yeah!
I mean, whatever I get will be a Pelikan Box.
Oh, sorry, you didn't know my last name, Pelikan.

I've got several, different sizes and designs, all from Cabela's. Wouldn't be without 'em!

They're better than dry boxes, no matter the design, because you can make them fit in odd-shaped spaces.

    Hope this helps.

I just remembered this place, but Flash beat me to it.

I've never ordered from them, but they've been in business for a looooong time. I'll bet their stuff is top drawer.
