Drum As cut bait - Is it any good?

    Does anyone use drum as cut bait? What kind of luck do you have?

    hey i used it last year in the ohio river and caught a 40 pounder on it.... so i guess it is just wether u are brave enought to sit there long enought and try it with out getting a hit or gettting the biggest fish u have ever caught.......

    Don't know about using them for cut bait, but they sure do work as live bait. I'm sure they would work as cut bait though too.

    I have used it both cut and live. We have got lots of drum swimmin this part of the missouri river. Had some luck using it as bait.They are fun to catch,hell of a fighter.......beartrap

    We used fillets last year and caught some cats. It seems to be like every other kind of bait..... one day it works great, the next day they won't touch it and you catch them on something else.... everytime I think we found the Magic Bait, they quite biting it.
