More news tomorrow. It's 1 am now and we leave for Santee at 3 am. Caught some today. Bill's dad had a 50 to 60#er run him up in some snags and break him off.

Nice to see you as well, Dickie! Sorry we couldn't chat much, but James and our crew were anxious to hit the water! :) Next time, we'll MAKE time for sure! We caught, I think, nine today. This mid spawn deal and the water temp dropping 12 degrees or so in a week due to a cold front, had the bite off somewhat from last week. However, we still scored a few nice fish. Some of these pics make the fish look dry, but I assure you that no fish was out of the water for over 3 to 4 minutes. We'll be back at it on the Great Pee Dee for three consecutive days, night and day, so we ought to get into some more good fish. Special thanks to Peedeecatmaster James Matherly for guiding our party around Lake Moultrie Saturday!

I enjoyed meeting both of you at breakfast; you'd fit right in with the crowd down here. You're with a fine guy when you're fishing with Bill in SC, and I hope the whole trip goes well, weather considered.
