Anyone tried drifting with a big spoon? I think I will tie one up above a baited hook to see what happens, Hey it should at the least attract some looks.... let me know what you guys think.

I like to drift with large spoons or 1-2 0z jigs. It will help to tip the spoon or jig with a shad or a shad fillet.this works well for blues, channel, and stripers.

We caught some big blues in the winter by jigging spoons just above them, then let it flutter down, If we can keep the sanbass off e'm I'm going to try them my next trip out.

Leland, a 2oz. jig with a large slad of shad or a large perch works great if you are having trouble with the sandies.
