Spent the weekend at Steve Brown's Bed and Breakfast. Saturday was great. The bait was easy to get and the wind blew. Steve gave me some tips on where to fish and we made 2 drifts, total of 2 hours, 15 min of fishing, boated 14 blues, before my wife got too hot and had a bad headache. So we went in.

Visited with Steve and Tina Saturday night and talked fishing, and talked fishing. Sunday we decided it was just too hot, so didn't fish, just laid around and rested before starting home. Going back in two weeks, hopefully it will be cooler then.

All in all it was a good trip.

Sounds like you had a great time and the fish count sounds about right - when they're on, they're on!

Were you drifting around KK Island or near the mile-long bridge?

Steve will talk your ear off if you let him...
