Drift fishing

    Catsmith (Robert) and I tried drift fishing today WE DON'T KNOW HOW!!!!! could ya'll please give us some pointers.......Thank you!

    There is a section here on drift fishing that would help out, check it out. you will love the drift once you figure it out.

    Well it all boils down to how fast your conditions dictate. What i do is just drift over a submerged island with a trollin motor on bout half steem to slow me down a bit with a bottom bouncer you can get at wal-mart. with a small piece of carp on the end usually i get bout 15-20 cats in a day if i get on them. hope this helps. You can also use a drift sock to slow you down. But if you find that the cats are up and ready then just ley mother nature do the boat control and you should be fine:wink:

    Thank ya'll for the useful information. I really enjoyed trying drift fishing now if I can only catch one or twenty.
