Just curious as to how many people prefer drift fishing to anchor fishing? Which one do you like the best?

I do them both. I've got several holes that I fish regularly. If i'm not having any luck, or If i'm at a lake or area that I haven't fished, I'll start drifting. While drifting, If I start catching fish, I'll mark the spots on my GPS. If I come back to that spot and fish it again, I just may have found another regular spot to fish.

You have to be able to do both, and know when to do both, if you want to have success.

Both, drift mostly during the days and anchor up in the shallows at night.
The exception being rought weather, then well, you know ..........

    Well said!
Damon, I prefer to drift and do it 90+% of the time. But I have no problem anchoring if the conditions are right.

I drift most of the time deep or shallow but I will and have anchored.
