cream of corn/flour, mash togather in a large bowl, until it becomes a little sticky to the touch, scoop out with a table spoon, and mold into balls coated with cornmeal. I use a egg carton to keep balls seperated until use.

Sounds like a killer recipe. Do you use any flavor? Does it cast good?

In a large mixing bowl mix:

2 cups of cornmeal (white cornmeal)

1 cup of flour (All purpose DO NOT use self rising)

    3 tablespoons of sugar

    Mix dry

slowly add water till you get a dough you like

    add 2 tablespoons of vanilla

    mix again

    separate into two large balls

put in boiling water for 10 minutes

    remove and let cool

mix both balls together again (mix well)

if it is a little tough for your liking add water only by wetting your hands

after mixed put in a gallon ziploc bag or butter bowl etc.

keep cool when not in use as it will spoil with time (couple days) Make the night before and put it in the fridge

I like mine slightly stiffer for the river than what I do the lakes. Also in lakes with little to no current I will use as little weight as I can and sometimes no weight at all.Unable to go again the next day?Take the remaining bait make into small balls and throw them out in your fishing area to keep them baited till you return with more bait.Oh yeah and REMEMBER to leave your bail open if you want to take your rod and reel back home with you! Hope this helps.Has worked great for me for years and years. Now I wanna go carp fishing! lol Good luck everyone. Jim

sometimes I use vanilla, strawberry, grape koolaid for an extra smell, and if I let them sit overnight they become firmer. You can always pre-hook them before putting them in a egg carton.

I like all the recipes, they are great. I always added a can of cream corn to the mixture, with a yellow bead on a circle hook
