For useing 6"-8" chubs and gills. I use a 5/0 Kahle then slide a #7 barrel swievel with a 3" length of mono with a 3/0 Kahle on the 5/0 hook. I then put the 5/0 thru the lips and put the 3/0 in the tail. Haven'y tried it yet but I think it would have to inprove hook up rates. What do you think ?

Two hooks in series should be an improvement. Give it a try and report back the results. Some of our sponsors sell double hook rigs.

great idea!ive seen times when a ole flathead will just pick up half the bait and run with it, cause when u reel it in sumtimes it s got a groove on both sides, so i believe itll work. good luck

We sell a lot of 2 hook rigs. I also can tie up a 2 hook rig that the top hook can slide up and down the main line to adjust the length between the hooks. This makes setting both hooks in the bait easy.
