I am getting ready to paint my boat, does the color of the bottom affect the bite of the catfish? Will the reflection of a light color in clear water at night affect the bite. What color would you paint your boat?

That is one I never considered! I dont think it matters one bit! By the time a catfish sees the bottom of my boat, his biggest worry is seeing the inside!:)

    Good point Phillip. LOL

I have never gave it much thought either. My grand daughter came up with the idea that if I painted the whole boat the same color of the water the fish would jump right in and I could save money on bait and tackle.:) :)
She may be on to something here.

I always painted my to show the water scum less that way I wouldn't have to clean it as much.:p

Never thought much of it either, If I was going to repaint the bottom of my boat, I think I'd go white. White would look like a big cloud....
