I use YUM oil based fish attractants, it has worked pretty good for me so far, but if anyone knows of a better attractant to use let me know.

I have recently purchased a bottle of Dead Red from Team Catfish. I have used it several times, but really do not know what I think yet. I have not noticed a huge drastic change with it or without it, but I did notice that I can use a piece of cut shad for quite awhile. When it gets old and bait is low, squirt it a few times and I can still catch fish with it.

I'd like the waters to be less crappy and flooded to really decide if it really helps out and increases my bites.

What is the best bait to spray that stuff on?
I have been using some shad I froze from back in November and not catching as many as it gets older. I will be netting some more fresh shad this weekend, but I guess that attractant would be good on old shad.
