I've heard of people fishing without a frosty beverage, but I've been too scared to try it myself.

not every time but most of the time. when im on someone elses boat i usually dont unless they suggest it. the only thing about is you gotta try not to touch the top of the can with the hand you bait ur hook with or else it smells like shad or liver or *stinkbait*

Some times, but not usually, anyway out in a boat is ok cause I bring a jug but depending on where I'm at on shore and how many people around. If I'm fishing near where I parked I just go in the van, but I hate drinkin a lot of liquids then storin it till I get somewhere. Coffee is just as bad

we drink several "cold ones" while we are fishing. but we fish the river and see very few folks. mostly at night. we are serious fisherman. serious fisherman don't go to get drunk. you can do that at home. but if the fishing is really, i mean really slow, one might drink more than one normally would. we are always prepared for the elements that nature throws at us

If we're camping on the river or something like that then I do, otherwise I wait till I get home. Don't drink if I'm runnin the boat and/or driving home soon after, too risky these days even after just a couple. At the most I'll take one beer for all day.

Yes I do,,,,, That said,,,,, I respect others who may have different diciplines or convictions ...

    I've heard it said that:

Freedom is not the "right" to do whatever one wants.

Freedom is the Power to do what one "Should"

Never when I'm operating the boat. You're welcome to drink on board until you make a fool out of yourself. It's tough to be around a bunch of drunks unless your one of them. I'm not.
