Does anyone fish on Sportsman Lake in Seminole?

    I live in seminole and almost everyone around here says "there's no fish in that lake". i have fished it twice with no luck.

    Daniele, The Seminole aera I know nothin about. But go on south to Konawa and I know you can catch fish. Set up there in the edge of that warm water and pull em in.

    I have fished there a few times, whats the best kind of fish in that spot?

    Daniel... Try Longmier Lake just east of Paul's Valley... Huge crappie, lots of big bass and the channel cats are hungry. The lake is small, and mostly uncleared with trees standing all ofer the lake.

    it's a favorite of catfishermen and crappie fishermen alike.

    Daniel, I don't know how the fishing is there, but in 2000, 01, and 02 ODWC stocked abot 6500 channel cats/year in Sportsman's Lake. Since that time, all of the stocking has been Florida LMB.
