Have seen that picture alot, personnally I think it is a huge load of BS.
Looks fake to me. Entertaining though.
Yes, the pic is BS. For more info, see the following link:
As for San Francisco Bay itself, it's far from being "freshwater" and there are plenty of sharks:
That photo surfaced a few years ago, total hoax.
You can read more about it here:
I think this man is the one I want to fish with.
Outside the Gate is big time Great White waters and inside the Gate is not fresh water it is salt all the way, you have fresh water tributaries coming into the bay but the SF bay is salt water and is tidal. Great location for a monster but I vote for fake. Go A's!!!! Go Raiders!!!!
ive seen bull sharks in fresh water been told they go upriver to kill the saltwater parasites on their bodies. thats here in the everglades
Thanks alot for the info on this you guys.It looked awlfull funny. Man people will try anything for attention. That would blow your mind to see something like thatcoming at you though.
yep i shark fish whenever i am at the Beach House. Theres no better rush then trying to turn a 5 foot Blacktip Shark around when he has a big piece of Bluefish in his mouth
Yes Bull shark's do indeed swim up in freshwater rivers, in-fact it is not even that uncommon. But the shark in that picture sure as heck aint no bull shark....lol
yep ive seen that picture several times on the national geographic channel, ribleys believe it or not, and other shows. total fake, they had a few other pictures that were cool but totaly fake now only if i could find them. i remeber there was a picture of a tree in africa with all these goats at the top of it but it turned out to be real! i guess theres a breed of goat that climbs trees to get away from predators. go figure
