Excluding Flatheads of course... Which do you catch more fish on? Which do you catch the bigger fish on?

I fish whenever I feel the urge to hook up the boat and go. It really doesn't matter what time it is.

As much as I fish in the summer months, if I fished in the daytime, I would be really dark.

:embarassed: me too :smile2: i mainly fish during the day cuz i can see whats going on with the river and my poles. if i got an extra set of eyes night fishing is good, extra set of eyes and ears, less chance of getting snuck up on. it still happens me and a buddie had some coyotes sneek up on us:crazy:. I perfer the transition times between day and night or close to it.

For me it depends on the time of the year and weather conditions etc.

Depending on the area you are fishing you can fish any method easily in either daylight or dark so, for me, it just depends on the weather conditions and time of year and what the fish are doing as to which I prefer.

You have to try and be adaptable to the fish and the pattern that they are in and adjust accordingly to be successful each trip that you plan. But if your schedule does not permit you to plan that well and you have to just take advantage of the time you have off from your job, get out there anyway. You can never tell. You might only catch one fish the whole day but it may just be that one in a lifetime catch that you won't ever experience again.

Depends on target species. I do like night though, no ski-doo's flying around.
