just what the manufacturer printed on the reel! Penn/Abu//Mitchell/ETC.
But I've never been one to name inanimate objects.

Okay I must be the nut case because ALL mine are named. It helped with multi rod setups with the kids. They just didn't get "Rod 1" or "Rod 2" but scream out "get ole faithful" and they were on it like white on rice. So here goes:
    Ole Faithful
Momma's rod (Which she has fished with about 10 times herself)
    Big Bertha
    The black rod
Allen's new rod (five years old...)
    The slayer
Daddy's good rod (curado on 7' allstar, love it, love it, love it!)
    Creek rod
    The deep sea rod
The Mississippi rod (that stays at pop's place)

I don't name my reels, but I call my light rigs "the girls" and my heavy rigs "the boys". So when I tell the wife that I'm taking the girls out, she has an idea where i'm going.
