Sport! If I want to eat fish, I catch them from the ocean. Much, much cleaner.

BOTH!!!! I fish for the meat and the sport. If i have plenty in the freezer, tha i practice CPR more. But, not messed up about keeping some for eating!!! After all - that is what the good lord put them here for. At least I won't starve if i can't run to the store and buy food. I will just hunt and fish for it, or grow it!

Mostly sport. But will keep some smaller one to eat. Nothing better than Catfish fried patatos/onion for supper.

    Both!

Generally for me anything over 5# goes back into the river.
I've actually had a few people get upset with me that I released a big fish instead of giving it to them.

I don't tell anyone else what to do, thats between them and their concience. But for me, I sleep good after releasing a big one.

I fish mainly for the fun of it. But we eat fish about 3-4 times a month so I keep what I need.

I'm the same way as Shane is on this. Last weekend I kept the first 2 cats of the year to eat. A small blue and a small channel. They were pretty good!

I like to eat the small fish, and let the BIG UNS go. After I get a pic.

I fish for meat. I really don't catch too many great big 'uns. I mostly target eaters.

I've been fishing since I was old enough to hold a pole and just kept my first fish 2 days ago. It was good. I made a mess of things but I think I'm going to start keeping a fish now and again.
