hi i have fished the maummee a couple of times for flathead with a couple of buddys we all fish the rasin river for channels and we are addicted to flathead fishing i was wondering with fall coming you guys said the bite gets great. is the best bite at nite or daytime? do they hit lures or is it all live and cutbait. our best flathead is 25lbs which is incredible for us to see compared to the typical 10lb channel cat in the rasin which is still huge to me and a blast to catch any help would be very thankful i;m having a baby so my chances of getting out r going to be few and far in between so the extra edge will be cool

I WOULD RECOMMEND NIGHT STILL. FOR ME I PREFER TO HAVE BAIT OUT BEFORE IT GETS DARK. LIVE AND CUT BAIT WILL WORK. LOCATION IS MOST IMPORTANT TO ME, RIVER BENDS, WOOD AND ROCK WILL HOLD FISH.
