    i've been thinking about chumming, so i guess my questions are;
    -->buy it? & if so, how expensive will it get if i'm fishing 2x a week?? how long does it last? a few hours? days?? -and can i re-use what's left on the next trip?
    --> Or make it myself? -labor vs. $$$
    My idea is to grind up extra bait, and mabey go to the grocery store meat dept. and see what i can get cheap or for free that's real bloody, and drill small holes in a plastic bucket. And last question--how long should i let it soak before i fish the area?? thanks in advance for any help....Randy

    I have tried and the drawback is that you draw in a scad of eatters.

    I have never done too much chumming. I think it would work best in backwater or lakes
