Diversion dam bait

    im headin out to a diversion dam to fish for the next few days and wont be able to post any, all i need to know is what bait works well at a diversion dam?

    I'm not really sure what a diversion dam is ,but I think I know what yuor talkin bout. I would bring a cast net and try to catch shad or small bluegill. Shrimp is always a good idea also, but there hard to keep on a hook in current. Shad would probably be your best choice

    a diversion dam is a dam on a river that lets the river build up over the winter and then in summer they let the water out of the river to fill a lake up (i think this is how it goes). thanks for your help i have access to shad
