Stuff like this just makes me mad! This is a feeder creek about 1 1/2 miles from one of my fishin spots. In the pictures there is trash, remnants of 3 deer carcasses, a bottle of Tordon (very strong plant killer). It just pi$$es me off when people think that the world is their trash can! If the rain we had didn't wash it away, I will be out there this weekend to clean it up!

    Hey man
You should sift through it to see if you can find any idea who it is.
It would be worth getting filthy for, to catch them.

The deer I dont have a problem with, god's creature and biodegradeable, but the rest of the stuff, I agree pisses me off. Hope you figure out who it is and report it to the DNR.

We have caught someone before 'cause they threw away some mail! He was escorted out there by the sheriff, and was watched the whole time till he was done!

The first time I saw this saying I was at a campground in MI, I was 12.

"Take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints"

    Enough said.

Well maybe not, whenever I go out fishing I always take a plastic garbage bag. I have yet to come out with an empty bag.:crying:

Damn do these ppl make me mad.

We have have a judge in our area that has a special punishment for litterers.

Court costs and bags of trash. He starts at 15 and goes up based on attitude and number of offenses.

Our county jail also has a litter crew for a jail alternative. People can work off 10 days of jail time by going out on litter crew for 8 hours per day. Not for violent crimes though.

No one should litter. All my trash is left in my boat until I get home.

uh man thats not bad at all compared to one of my spots. I been meaning to get a picture of it right after it rains. all the trash will pile up just below one of the low dams for about 100 yards and about 75 yards wide u cant even fish! i seen needles in a bag layin on the ground, shoping carts, chairss, matress, miles of fishing line all kinds of stuff. all the fish i catch out of it have these blister lookin things that are bleeding. strickly CPR in that place. but ive caught my biggest bass and crappie fishing there.

This kind of thin makes me sick, I see it all around the lakes, what is really
bad you find this kind of stuff within walking distant to a container. The same thing can be found on open water...styrofoam cups...beverage cans
and etc. Another thing found are the 1lb propane canisters, it makes you wonder how lazy the hogs are that leave such trash. It isn't any wonder
that allot of lakes are denying access to bank fishing especially at night.
Can these losers call themselves sportsman?

The deer carcasses don't bother me that much, it just sucks cause I know that they were poached, I should have taken pictures of the deer when they first showed up, all the rotton SOBs took were the choice cuts of meat! If a person is down on their luck and needs to feed their family, I would buy that person a deer tag if need be, but to poach a deer and leave it to rot that is just wrong, not a quarter mile from this bridge, a doe was shot in the hindquarters with a small caliber, probally .223, and left to die she didn't make it 25yds from where she was shot. Just another example of stupid redneck hillbillies from southeast nebraska. No offense to other rednecks or hillbillies.

I think cleaning it up is a wonderful idea, not just because it gets the job done. If we try to find the @sses that make the messes or get in their face to clean up, they just turn off and decide we are jerks. The best thing to do is to go ahead and clean it up. That will set a good example to others, who might then clean a little junk themselves now and then and just maybe it will shame the real problem folks into seeing their mistake.

Unfortunately, it seems that some of us have to clean up after the rest of the human race on a regular basis (literally and figuratively). The only other option is to live in their filth (shooting them is not an option, too bad).

    That is plain disgracefull, Brother!!!
Tordon is a non-restricted use item, which means that anyone can buy it. It is used for preventing regrowht of trees that are cut down and promotes the decompostion of the roots. It is mainly used by home owners and utility companies. I am not condoaning the dumping of this bottle, but I can tell you this much, It wasn't a farmer that did it cause they don't use it much, if at all. I was just bringing this to light because there is always someone out there that will blame everything on a farmer if possible.

We have found bags of trash in the ditches around the farm and nothing ticks me off anymore than to have to pick up someone elses mess. I have found adresses in the bags and called the sherriff also. It is fun to watch these city folks come out in their nice cars and trucks all decked out in their city duds and pick up trash, LMAO!!! Here in our county there is a fine of 500.00 dollars or you can go pick it up along with everything else in the area(even if it ain't yours)!!!
I also have a problem with the hunters dumping their deer carcasses in the ditches too. It only brings in the coyotes and other scavengers we don't need around the farm!!!

Just goes to show you that "Stupid People Shouldn't Breed"

That really is sad. The creek by put farm and where we get our minnows used to look worse than that. It had bed mattress, magizines, and regular old trash. Now since we have farmers like me, and my grandpa, and others we have been able to stop littering by posting signs and check down there everyonce in a while, and catch the people doing this. It is truely sad, and it makes you think why people want to do this.

It is simple Yeehaw, People just don't care about anything else but themselves. I mean they clean up around their house, and we get to pick up what they didn't want around their place!!! Kinda makes you want to pinch their heads off, don't it!!!

My father and I have pulled all sorts of crap out of there, La-Z-Boy recliner, sleeper sofa, mattress and box springs, valve covers from a chevy 350, beer bottles, washing machines, and all sorts of house hold trash!

those kind of folks have no concideration of others, or better yet, they just don't care. Whenever me and my boys go fishing, we always take a plastic bag with us. I have taught them not to litter GODS country.

I am with you 100% It peeves me off to no end to see all the litter left behind by others.

I fish a local urban lake in arizona on a regular basis and the trash is just everywere. To make matters worse the person incharge of keeping the place clean is more intrested in talking to the fisherman than working!
