Yes it works. Some works better than others but I have caught many channels off of dip and dough bait. I have also caught some blues with it as well. I use catfish Charleys Bloob B alot but just started to use Sonnys super sticky. No results yet on the sonnys but I hear it works great as well.

BeeJay doughbait works pretty well, though I've never caught anything bigger than 'eaters' with it. BeeJay seems to be a midwestern phenomenon, and it's been around since I was a kid. Good luck, and tight lines.

Never believed in the stuff myself until I tried Danny Kings punch bait and that stuff works scary good. I don't think I'vr ever left without at least catching one fish using that stuff. I've tried some of the others but am just sold on the Danny Kings.

Nick nothing beats live or cut bait. However I never go fishing without three different dip baits. Wicked Stickey, Sonny's, Catfish Charlies (Shad). These baits have saved the day many times. Good Luck on your choice.

Danny Kings punch bait is fantastic. The stuff u buy from his website seems to be more potent than the stuff at Walmart.

I've been using Sonny's for years, but I also went to school with Sonny Hootman's son so I may be a little biased. I've caught probably 85% of all me blue and channel cats on Sonny's. In a pinch I'll use Doc's, but it's not as sticky as Sonny's. Average weight about 3.5 lbs. but have also caught 8-12 pounders on more occasions than not. When I go back home every year I buy a 5 gallon bucket of the stuff to take back. These Louisiana boys can't figure out why I catch so many fish!
