Corn on the cob is good with loads of butter also (can you tell I like butter :smile2:)

Now to follow that up with a huge slice of pumkin pie (covered with at least 2 inches of whipped cream) and we have a meal.

BG I would almost have to say that Meatloaf is a close second (with bacon on top of it)

It's all good. Roast duckling , leg of lamb, smoked turkey, blood rare porterhouse steak, crab legs and lobster, very thin and crisp fried beef liver, spaghetti with my wifes ragu, boiled or fried cabbage, pork and sauerkraut cooked for twelve or more hours. Hard bread and fresh vegetables with a little salt, butter and lemon pepper. Oh did I mention my favorite herbs rosemary and basil and their fruity friends the citrus family and the whole tomato clan! lol:smile2::smile2::smile2:

My wife doesn't even have to ask...

Grilled cajun catfish fillet, spanish rice, hoppin' john, and cornbread.

What hoppin' john, y'all ask? Why, it's black-eyed peas and tomatoes! I prefer making it myself, using some of them Rotel tomatoes with peppers, plus a little sugar.
