    The $8.9 billion in federal tax revenues generared by angler spending in 2006 is roughly equal to the entire 2006 budget of the E.P.A.


    In 2006, the total days of fishing in the United States equaled 1,289,300 years.


    Catfish are pursued by 7 million anglers. More then the popuation of Arizona.


    The Nearly 1 million jobs supported by anglers is almost three times the number of people who work for the United Parcel Sevice.
