Today was my first day on the river in the boat. It was the best day I ever had. i caught a 38 ponder a thirty ponder and three 20 somethings. I been thinking about chumming for a while. So i come up with this ideal of taliking a 5 gallon bucket , poking some holes in it, filled it up with chopped up flycarp and a couple of shad. Then I put some rocks in it to weigh it down. Before i tossed it over the side of the boat I tied a rubber band to the handle and put my line on it. That way my bait was right next to the bucket. I would like to think that is why I caught them fish but I have to do it some more to make sure. It sure didn/t hurt any thing:) I did this both on the miss and the mo it worked both times.

Congrats on the great day. I can not wait to get my boat ready so I can hit some better water for the big boys.

    Congrats again.

Great Idea I've been thinking about trying the same thing with some dog food and cat food and such.
