Depth Finders

    I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS TRIED THOSE DEPTH FINDERS THAT YOU TIE ON YOUR LINE AND CAST OUT,THEN WATCH THE RESULTS ON A WRISTWATCH LOOKING RECIEVER,WONDERING IF THEY ARE ACURATE OR JUST A PIECE OF CRAP ANY INFO WILL BE APPRECIATED

    they work 1/2 way decently the first few times but soon become a real piece of sh*t there after... i don't know if it was just mine or not but i'm just glad i didn't pay anything near full price to get it... You would think with all the technology out there for building wireless signal equipment that they could do one thats atleast worthwhile for more then 25 yds (and thats in the best of situations... usually closer to 15 or 10)

    I'd say don't buy it... save up your money and find a small jon or kayak and then get a portable or better system to use on that...
