    fished the delaware below valley falls saturday. minimal flow, the water was pretty clean overall. Had to move several times to find the cats, but did manage to put several small fish in the boat. Drum were bitting very well! I was using liver and worms, targeting eater fish.

    These came home with me, the rest went back to the water....

    James which way from the ramp were you?
    I was there Sat crappie fishing about 10 min boat ride down from the ramp.

    We caught 34 crappie in about 1.5' of water.

    I went up from ramp near that first bridge. I tried a couple holes and didnt do any good, then found the cats in a 9 foot striaght channel.

    Crappie must be thick down where you were, boat trailers all over saturday. were you in a creek off the river? Interesting that we went to the same areas two days in a row. and you out fished me both days.

    Great minds must thank alike:wink::wink:.

    Yes i was in the back of the old river channel about 1/2 mile

    There are some nice cats in that river in the heat of the summer.I blood bait all those logs and stumps from the ramp to the lake.

    And flat are in the deep holes all summer long.
    Head down river sometime James and you will find those 20-35' holes.
    Hit them after the spawn with live bait and you will haul some BIG flaties out of there.
