I fished the Delaware river today from 5:30am - 2pm between Linded ave and the Walt Whitman. I was using cut eel, cut sunny and cut herring. I caught 3 Channels cats and a White cat. All 4 fish hit cut eel. The biggest was about #6.

Thanks guys! Here is a pic I took. It has to be the smallest mouth I ever seen on the end of a 8/0 circle hook:smile2:. That's what you get for fishing in the city.

I was hiding on the river freezing my nards off LOL :smile2: going fishing when your boat has a nice thick layer of frost on it really makes you question your sanity LOL:smile2:

I went for Blues lastyear in Md. in Dec. and Jan. We had to chip ice off the ramp and when we ran the gill net we had to break some ice with the boat to get the net in where we wanted it. To most of us hard core guys that's sane. Blues bite awsome in the winter. All you have to do is dress for the weather like your going huntung.

Saltwater style! A nice pair of Grundens or Helly Hansens will keep you warm. Why do you think it's called Foul Weather Gear.
