Greg from Iowa is flying down in January and we will be fishing for the week on the Altamaha river gunning for Winter Flathead Catfish.

If anyone is in the area, and wants to meet up, chime in.

At a minimum you know there would be another boat on the water during this time of year as a back-up in case of boat issues.

Will be alot of fun, especially that time of year

Paul I know you fish JC down... I don't know if you have ever fished the Carter's Bight area but if your interested I would be delighted to host the two of you on the pontoon boat for a cat fishing trip on that part of the river.

    Thanks Guys.

We will basically be on the water daylight hours, from the 2nd of January through the ? January.

    Launching out of JC primarily.

Based on water temperature, we may pull roots and head to Santee or Wheeler. If its below 52 Degrees,"highly doubtful" or the river is at high stage, that will push us out.

Judgement call will be made once we gauge the river during that timeframe.

Plan now though, is strictly the Altamaha.

Be sure and just call around 3 January if you are interested, or heck, just show up, you will see us on the river.
