deep sea fishing in Hawaii

    Went deep sea fishin in Hawaii and caught alot of Mahi Mahi and the rare Pacific shortbill spearfish Marlin. Very awesome trip.

    I love the Mahi Mahi also we ate plenty of it while we were there.

    More interesting looking under water critters, I bet they was fun catching! Was it kill or be killed with that spearfish? (sarcasm) LoL

    We also went out shark fishing at night about 1400 yards off of waikiki beach. We caught 5 sharks between 90-200# and a stingray the first ever caught on the shark boat with a 4 foot wing span. Here are some more pics.

    Man, that sounds like a great trip! We went off the coast of Lanai several years ago. Mahi is the best! Thanks for the pictures

    Hawaii is good for Marlin but after talking to the guys that have been to Cabo and some other countries. Im headin there next time. The guy said for pretty cheap he pulled in two Marlins in one day. One bein a 500# that took over two hours to get in more like closer to three hours.

    I caught some stingrays in FL a few years back. Lesson learned, wear leather gloves. Sharks, maybe steel or iron will do the trick.:wink:
