My son Anthony was home from Michigan to visit so we hit the Wabash for a couple hours Friday evening. Here are a few pics.
    Anthony's blue weighed 18 lb. 11 oz.

Here are some more pics. I hit a trifecta, flathead - 14 lb. 8 oz., channel - 5 lb. 8 oz., blue - 7 lb. 8 oz. Not a bad couple of hours.

As we were leaving, saw a couple of bank fishers, we had a lil thawed skipjack left over so we thought we would give it to them. Turned out to be our very own "Catfish Hate Me" Jason Hamblin. I hope you did some good Jason, glad to run into ya.

Good thing I saw that big "CATFISH1.COM" on the side of your boat.

Theres a lot of good fish that come from that hole. Theres another spot right up river that I like to fish for channels too. Ill show ya when we get out there together.

Ive been using all different baits from liver to the secret 7 dip bait any help on some hot spots would be appreciated. My gf is really getting into it and i want her to get her one as well.

There are a few good spots around here. Behind the ICON building on first street is a good one. Im not sure how legal it is, the buildings for sale now, but ive just parked in the lot there and walked down the stairs. I just throw my line up against the pillar on the train tressel, ive caught channels and small blues there. Also try behind the water company a little farther down on first street. Pull down along the railroad tracks and walk down, if you see a black extended cab shortbed F150 then im probably there. I try different spots all down the bank. Ive caught some good fish up to 15 pounds there channels and blues. Fairbanks isnt the best but you can catch fish there. That area has a lot of nets and trotlines around it, I think its startin to get over fished. But the best bank spots in my opinion are the first two I named.
