Drove to the boat ramp at the hot water outlet, what I saw make me sick!! There was about 30 to 40 channels in the water with each side cut out, some fool just fillet them on the water and tossed them back in the water still some good meat left on them besides trashing up the boat ramp!!

Top,
no, that isn't a pretty sight.
I noticed a lot of carp and gar floating dead between your area and Spadra on Saturday...but then again, that is the best way to see a gar or carp.
I hope that person who doesn't know how to skin a catfish will learn to properly skin it and not waste any meat, or dirty up the lake/ramp.

Wate waste waste. I just posted top on this very subject. If ya don't eat it or give it away to someone that does, fish with it. Throw it back what is going to hurt. Nothing except they will be here for another day. I understand the drum give one heck of a fight. I know...Why not let him go and let him do his job he was put here for..........The banks were loaded with dead skips wasted because of whatever reason. Them ***** eat all that they couldn't get to the rocks to get anymore. Throw it back the birds and drum love them
And I love at that point no flies, maggots, or knats swarming me while I fish

top i dont know how much meat was left on the fish but thats the way you dispose of the unuseable parts of a fish in arkansas.you can throw fish parts in the water but not on the land unless its your land.thats the law.

There are slobs, and jerks in our ranks as catfishermen. We are hardly immune from this genetic flaw. For some reason these folks seem to believe that trashing the area with dead fish and guts is a display of their fishing prowess and skill. A while ago while duck hunting we saw the parking area full of duck and goose carcasses that had been breasted out and thrown everywhere. What a waste of waterfowl. Same with the fish mess. Some folks are a waste of skin and should belly-crawl back under their rock. I have friends that throw their cigarette butts everywhere. But they never throw them in their own yards! Then they act like everyone else should put up with their slovenly ways. Maybe these guys were drug up as orphans and never learned much about the sanctity of life. My kids know better than to waste anything! Hope these folks next couple trips yield nothing except old guts, maggots, flat tires, blown engine, storms, bug bites, sunk boat, lost tackle, broke poles, traffic tickets, and jail. And oh yes, GOOD LUCK !!! Hope you " Reap what you've sown "!
