Well its on!! We went out this evening to check out the area we are going to hunt. I showed Katelyn where I hunted two years ago, where the birds should be roosting, where they were drinking and we sat in the shade of a grove of locust trees and called and glassed and never seen a thing. But I really didn't expect to as the wind was horrible,30-40 mph . This makes it tough,But We will be set up well before dawn tomorrow and I'll get some pics of the place even if she doesn't connect. Season is on till may 10 here.

Heres a couple big rocks that could fall any time, they are at least 30 ft up from the creek bottom. The last is a pic of a Round Tailed Horned Lizard we came across this morning very unusual species for this area.

Richard I hope ya'll connect with the big bird soon. I really enjoy the
pictures of the terrain you hunt, its so different from what I'm use to.
The only time I have seen land like that is in pictures and movies. I
know somethings about it because I have always read all I can on the
Apache wars and the Apache indian in general.
