Cuz said something about offering his barn for some of us to get together to make weights later on. I didnt want to call it a weight fest, then all the twinkee bandits would show up!!

Lets do this in January. Not much goin on, deer season will be over, and too early for turkeys. Someone tell Kutter I'll have the barn heated to around 70 degrees so he might venture out from the cave and his annual winter hibernation.

Since Cuz is furnashing the barn... I'll furnish all the lead.. All everybody has to do is bring pots and molds.. I've got a 10 lb Lee pot and flat bank sinker molds from 3 to 8 oz.. Hey Cuz.. I can drink alot of coffee...

    Shoot HOT diggity dawg!

January would be perfect for me cause that's right in between out-of-towners.

Harold has a crapload of lead, thats way cool!

Don't know about the Cuz Coffee but I can sure as heck drink some coffee 24/7. It better be robust and strong Cuz!

    LeadStock '07 will need music..............

Merle Haggard, George Jones anyone? Or am I in the minority here?

Rock and roll will be outside next to the lead pots!:smile2:

If I keep at it I can bring home around 50 lbs a week... Some weeks a little less.. I just forget to load some up most days... Must be old age, huh..

Nice Avatar Bill!! I almost fell out of my chair when I seen it. I know whatcha mean! As far as lead goes. I am working on getting some, but by the way it sounds, Harold can get it no problem. Heck he probably brought a couple hundred pounds to give away at CuzFest. I still got mine.

Na! it's not to bad, I also have a mold that makes 8,10,12,16 ounce bank sinkers!

    I can't wait till Jan!

I'm going to try to make one of those cool anchors one of these weekends,

I feel your pain. All I have is a ladle, and I use a handheld propane torch to melt it. I found that you can get on ebay, and get the old cast iron pots and ladles pretty cheap. Most of them are antiques, but they are work just fine.

I use a small cast iron skillet. I heat it on an electric hot plate. I speed things up with a propane torch. works pretty good.

I'll bring my propane burner, pot and ladle.

The only molds I currently own are No-roll slip sinkers.

    I Have:

    DO-IT No-Roll 3 oz, 4 oz, 5 oz

    DO-IT No-Roll 6 oz, 8 oz

    And the super-duper TOP SECRET:

    Collins Customs No-Roll Slip 8 oz, 12 oz, 16 oz:cool2:

Better have some lead if we're gonna get much outta that baby!:eek:oooh:

2 lbs, 4 oz per pour will net just 3 sinkers!!!!
