I read somewhere in here that you could cut the fins off of a bluegill and it would cause the bluegill to fight harder attracting some big flattys. I was wondering if you could do the same thing with goldfish. Any suggestions on this?

    Hello,

Sorry I can't help you out, I live in Minnesota and it is illegal to use bluegill and goldfish for bait along with other fish. Here where I live you can use bullheads and I occasionally use them myself. I almost always cut the entire tail off just until it starts bleeding, cutting the tail make the bullheads have to work really hard to swim and with the bleeding its deadly on cats. So I don't know why it wouldn't work for you with goldfish.

    Take Care!

    Sincerely, Kevin
