I want to try carp for bait this weekend at Bartlett!!! If I catch any that are big I will try cut bait and if they are under a pound I will use as live bait. Do any of you guys know where the best place to start fishing for them here at Bartlett????? The marina, back of coves, or close to shore. I will be using corn and bread for bait and dont want to spend a whole lot of time on them. I need just a couple to try out, my main bait will be gills. Also if using them as cut bait do I need to scale them and how big of a piece do I use, I was thinking of using a piece 1'' by 3'' on a 10/0 kayle.
    Thanks for listening
