I'm going to Bartlett on Sunday. I think I'm going to fish Sun night and Mon night. I've been concentrating on live bait but from reading everybodys messages it sounds like Cut Carp does the job to???? Also, I was anchored just past ship rock about 300 yards on the right on a flat about 8 feet deep adjacent to a big drop-off. I noticed all night there were hundreds of bluegill attracted to my small light on the back of the boat. With a concentration of that many bluegill is that somewhere you would fish or not?
You will find gills everywhere.
* If you swim in Bartlett, and sit still they will nip at you.
~ I would recomend not using a light while flathead fishing....
The light also might be attracting shad which like to sworm around the crappie lights when in the water. My favorite spot is one with a cove and a point, I like to fish at the point of the cove like the entrance to the cove. If you enter this cove you have to pass by my bluegills first.
Hey! Mr. TDPasser does that title sound somewhat familiar to you? From some of the other post I"ve read it seem's I might have been in one of the coves you might have also visited. If so maybe we'll run into each other there sometime and swap tales, I was there thursday night and only got the channel's to show any intrest.
Sounds great Ike i'm in a red lund if you see me give a holler. Fish On!
