Any folks ever used talapia for cut bait...if so would using the head for flats be productive, or would pieces be more productive for a chance of attracting different types of takers. Thks for any replys, J.T.

I have seen shows on televsion where they use Tilapia for bait in Mexico but they are not native to Oklahoma so I wouldn't know. Give it a try. They might be the best bait to use.

Any fish will work for bait, just some works better then others. Different seasons some will outfish others as well. I salt water fish alot and have used salt water fish with great success. If it smells like a fish, catfish will eat it!!

You might catch flats off of it ,but I always use live bait for flatheads they are not a big dead bait eater. You could possibly catch some nice blues with it though. It's definetly worth a shot
