Pointer.... I have frozen fresh mackeral whole and cut baits.... I like to put cut bait in separate baggies...... Better yet.... I also use a foodsaver VAC and do that with my fish and bait...... best yet is to keep the bait fresh on ice, but not in the water and use it that way..... If you have to feeze it then do it...I was wondering, is it best to freeze the entire fish (carp in my case) or should I freeze the cut pieces? I'm sure a fresh caught fish would be the best cut bait, but if you have to freeze it for the next trip what is the best method? Thank You in advance.
