My buddie has a cummins 3000 generator. A few days ago, the throttle stop bracket broke. Had to take the gas tank off and drill out the bracket and replace with a screw. The generator ran ok but seemed a little off, probaly do to not getting the bracket in exact same spot. Ok, the next day this little rod that goes to the throttle jumps out. We get that fixed, but now the the carb is getting so much gas, that it ignites. I didnt and dont think my friend changed the fuel flow screw, but something is weird, what happen to make that carb get so much fuel! And where should I start to trouble shoot it? Carb rebuild?
